Today I have gone to an improv class for the first time... it was very very fun!!!
It is five days alltogheter spread over five weeks once every tuesday
We are 15 people and theres both cute boys, cute girls some handsome older gentlemen and some dashing older ladies. They are all so nice and I think we all felt very welcome, loved and seen today. The facilitator is an amazing guy very fun and very caring.

We had a very soft start with some introductions and easy improv exercises and games.
I am looking forewards to the next session!

Also also there is a few other people also playing dnd which was a blast to talk about!
AmA if there is anything you are curious about or tell me about your own improv experiencesa

ooooh im so happy it went well!

do you perform skits? do you have to act stuff out in groups or by yourself?
do any of you get stagefright or "freeze"? do you get help from the instructor if you cant think of anything?

improv is so awesome \o/

omg that sounds like a lot of fun val im glad it well :comfmonk:

it's really cool that theres such a wide range of people, and at the same time there being people who are into what youre into!

are there any kinds of specific kinds of skits or exersizes your excited to do? What kind of characters are hoping to play.
*takes out interview mic* what are you finding most challenging, as an actor?

There weren't any skits this time, but last time i went(not for class, but improv jam) there were some skits done. For example me and another person got a prompt of interviewer and interviewed for a job. We had to rhyme each sentence...

Both of us didn't manage to rhyme a single thing and the teacher had to stop us and give us another prompt. It was such a blast!!!

*violently attacks mic, biting chewing and clawing at it like the wild raccoon i am*
....uuumm Tbh i'm just looking forewards to getting to more skits and more indepth stuff. Would love to try anything really. The whole experience is very fun. Not too picky about anything. I'm hoping to challenge myself with lots of stuff... maybe not more rhyming..
Thank you both for asking lots of fun questions :D
