Tried to figure out Krita in time to draw a character portrait for VTM. Meet the E-girl nosferatu Kitty Harlan. Still in the process of figuring out Krita but the more I use it the more I just want to download CSP on my new computer.

It's been pretty hard for me to adapt to the workflow but I imagine it might be easier if I mainly worked in Photoshop back in the day

out of curiosity whats been hardest about the workflow to adapt to? i know whats always been stopping me from switching to linux is the fact idk if id be able to take CSP with me, thoooo last i heard its mostly up to snuff as long as you don't use it to do text (i use it to do text  :'( )

kitty harlans deffo looking pretty cute!!! i think the bangs to hide the horns(?)+ facemask combo is pretty fun, i'd love to hear more abt her and her adventures once ur campaign starts  :nukocheer:

What a neat design, I like that she only puts the skin-coloured make-up over the parts that aren't going to get covered. Funny to imagine one of those e-girl GRWM-type videos with that set-up, lol

Part of her character is being an aspiring streamer (her fanbase is the herd merit, and that's how she gets blood) but  I've been playing around with her having supernaturally incurred BDD so she doesn't ever show her face, let alone make  a video of it.

Just running into some issues with not understanding the brush engine or what to use when, missing some quality of life graphic design stuff, and having absolutely no idea how to use the filters.
I tried making something for another game, going for the effect of a green phosphorous light amplifying telescope and really didn't like the result because of the filters. You cannot view this attachment.
She's actually part of a campaign that's been going on a while, run by a mutual friend of ours. I can talk more about what she's gotten up to so far later

That sounds pretty interesting, and I can see it working considering that Vtubers are really popular nowadays; something like using an online mascot alone. Or the voice stream route. Although it's harder for streamers to get any traction through voice alone it seems, that could introduce another interesting challenge if you decide to go that route. I'd be interested in hearing what you end up doing for her character.  :nukoyay:

Cool, masking in public provides the perfect cover for Nosferatus...!

ahhh rip. can't speak towards the quality of life stuff but fingers crossed the filters just have a bit of a learning curve. otherwise it's still great stuff! & deffo looking forward to when u have the time to tell ur oc's tale then :nukocheer:
