Hello, I am better known by most of you as "Just Gabby". Many jokes have been made about me being an unabashed mega-dyke and forcefemmer, though I can assure you I have simmered down quite a bit since I was last in these orbits.
Originally I was studying to do animation full time, but burnout happened and I now just do art as a hobby.
Now I'm not sure what I'm doing, probably just gonna toy around with comics and ttrpg supplemental art.
Unrelated interests:

-Occultism and wacky conspiracy theories

The past day or so on this forum before making this post has already been really refreshing, it feels extremely genuine in a way social media doesn't. Tired of these Algorithms seeming like eldritch gods encroaching on our reality. Looking forward to my time here!

i'm sorry burnout left you adrift artistic wise, honestly same. i think going the route of indie publishing/insert illustration art is super viable, and it also has a way less exploitative vibe than the games industry. i know that personally i've been trying to get my foot into the local zine scene, i think thatd b a fun way to start opening doors for small run comic art.

i think making a textile crafts thread would be relevant 2 the forum! like, i deff made it w illustration in mind but i want people to feel comfortable talking abt other artforms they enjoy
