when you made your account were there any visibility issues? i have two people so far telling me that there was a bug where the area to enter your username has a green background with white text but i havent seen it myself so far

Only bug I've found so far is the Alerts number never goes away, even if you click on the specific alerts & everything!

i checked things on the backend and they're set to automatically delete in one week which is the lowest possible, otherwise if you scroll all the way down the alerts page (which you can access by pressing the ALL ALERTS button) there is an option to delete All read alerts , lmk if this is helpful!

it turned out that there were different colors for valid and invalid inputs (glaring white, which obvo sucks w brighg green text) but luckily i found it in the main css file and fixed it so it has the same color as the other entry fields.
You told me this would be comic cans but it isn't for some reason :(

Not sure if this is a 'bug' exactly but I just found out that a post has a max limit of 20,000 characters? I was originally going to write a post in the OC subforum about an original species in my story but it went over the character limit and I'm not sure if it was an intentionally imposed limit or just the default for the forum. If it's on purpose then that's fine, but I think having it written down somewhere or to have a limit in the input box where it automatically stops letting you type once you reach the limit would be nice. :nukoyay:

that seems super reasonable! im sorry if this made you lose progress on your post i know how that feels.
character limit is something i haven't tweaked at all in the forum settings so its probably the default, and wont lie i thought it would have a warning at the bottom if u were nearing it. i'll look into how too add some sort of chacter limit warning and also get a feel for what i think a good character limit on this forum would be

definitely get back to me here on where this problem persists on other themes or devices! i know for me the cursor automatically changes to the I cursor when hovering over a large text-input area, so i could see a world where thats bugging out.
also i have no idea why but you generated like, 7 error logs when u'd accessed the hompage so uhh, let me know if you experience any other issues?? i'll keep an eye on it. :nukobrowse:

I think I know why! I tried switching back to the default forum look to see if I could fix the bug, but it doesn't work at all. It only shows the chatbox on top and the rest of the forum no longer displays at all.
I'll try out Guespiere's suggestion!
