Okay I'm gonna try to condense this down as best I can so I'm not infodumping on you for paragraphs upon paragraphs.
Basically the lore that started last year on their tour is that they are not MCR but are once again playing as The Black Parade - but this time they are the national band of a country called Draag, ruled by his Grand Immortal Dictator.Its heavily implied in the show that the Black Parade have been held against their will in a facility called the MOAT for 17 years, being reconditioned (tortured) into becoming complaint to Draag so they can tour the country to show off its greatness. There are little acts of defiance from each member suggesting the reconditioning hasn't fully worked and the most popular theory fans have come up is that the band is stuck in some kind of a time loop and will be forced to perform again and again until the Dictator is satisfied with their performance.
The deer in the background of my sketch is the design of the flag of Draag so I figured it would be fun to make Gee a deer as well cuz hes the frontman of the national band!

Genuinely one of the coolest concepts for a tour, actually, the only concept for a tour, I've heard. It makes me really interested in hearing more from them. In FACT I actually listened to the band for the first time, they fuck dude! I listened to "Welcome to the Black Parade" and "The National Anthem of Draag" They make good songs and interesting lore so I'm looking forward to digging deeper. So I really appreciate you introducing me to them.
I like their flair for the dramatic/attention to detail and I wonder if their older albums have similar lore and the such.
